THE FOLLOWING ARE CURRENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Public Relations SpecialistPurpose of Position: Under direct supervision, develops and maintains effective publicity and communication for Rhino Linings USA and handles and oversees arrangements for trade shows and other events. Major accountabilities: Including but not limited to: - Creates publicity in the consumer, dealer, industrial and national markets.
- Develops and maintains relationships with editors and other key media representatives.
- Researches media opportunities and pitches ideas to media representatives over the phone and at select events.
- Writes press releases, articles and other materials for media.
- Organizes media events at shows and other venues.
- Conducts research in order to develop stories to be used in newsletters, articles and other promotional channels.
- Write articles for bi-monthly dealer newsletter, edits articles provided by other departments and oversees production of the piece by production artist.
- Writes letters and other corporate communications, as needed.
- Handles trade show arrangements, including completing all forms and check requests, coordinating inventory transfers, packing crates, coordinating shipment, coordinating booth set-up and working at select shows.
- Completes free listing forms for magazine buyers' guides.
- Assists dealers with local promotions and special requests.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or marketing; three or more years related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Video production work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team setting with diverse persons.
- Excellent computer experience in Windows environment, MS Project and website maintenance skills highly desired.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Pleasant, positive and confident presentation of self and office.
- Ability to prioritize duties and meet regular processing deadlines.
